ACCOMPLISHMENTS
  • On the basis of this SBIR contract and several other SBIR contracts with NASA and the DoD, Charles River continued the application of the underlying hybrid neural/expert technology to develop learning agent technology for a broad spectrum of commercial software products
COMMERCIALIZATION
  • Developed a learning agent for desktop computers to automate routine tasks, with sales of $400K
  • Developed a C++ Class Library for Fact Generation with learning capabilities,  with sales of $250K
  • Formed a spinoff company specializing in website personalization based on learning agent technology
  • The company was subsequently sold for $3.5M
GOVERNMENT/SCIENCE APPLICATIONS
  • Developed a hybrid technology biomedical signal processer which is being used to record physiological data during human research experiments
