ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Development of a low noise ultra-low
power amplifier with less than 2 pA/Hz sensitivity and 2 MHz bandwith
- SQUID array amplifier system
offers ease of readout and low noise characteristics for measuring
current in low or zero (superconducting) impedance loads
- Developed complete low noise
amplifier systems, as well as amplifier chips for cryogenic detectors
|
COMMERCIALIZATION
- Developed complete instrument,
with sales realized from the beginning of the Phase II program
- In excess of $45K in chips and
systems in 1996; more than double the sales in 1995
|
GOVERNMENT/SCIENCE
APPLICATIONS
- Amplifiers in use at NASA Goddard
Space Flight Center and at NISR, Boulder, Colorado for infrared
bolometers
- Readout of particle detectors
- Magentometry
- Non-invasive inspection
