INNOVATION
- SensorMiner, is a tool that specializes in real-time, embedded and autonomous command and control software systems.
- Applies the generated model to
on-line, real-time data, detects on line (real-time) anomalies and
reports anomalies to the operator with explicit information.
|
|
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Development stage: SensorMiner commercial version available.
- The technology was built upon portable, embeddable Spacecraft Control
Language (SCL) architecture and was proven in control centers for
DoD and NASA.
- The technology keeps the human in the loop and has enabled the Space
Shuttle Main Engines to "think" for themselves. Resulted in savings
on manpower ($300,000 per year for NASA).
|
COMMERCIALIZATION
- The Sensor Miner toolset is a commercially available product that
Interface & Control Systems (ICS) is marketing to existing Control
System and Test Set markets.
- ICS provides the essential products and services necessary to support
mission-critical applications in Aerospace and Intelligence industries.
- Primary target/Potential Market sectors: Satellite Control Centers,
Test Sets and Post-Test Analysis, Industrial Control and Monitoring
and Medical/Biological Monitoring.
- Unique competitive advantage: Companies have relied on SCL as the
core component of mission critical systems.
|
GOVERNMENT/SCIENCE
APPLICATIONS
- The technology is used to populate the SCL Rule-Based Expert System
with monitor and control rules for a Space Shuttle Main Engine data
stream.
- The tool is robust enough to be fielded to other domains at NASA
KSC, and other DoD and civilian programs.
- Intelligent, real-time alerts can be generated based on any event
whether directly received from sensor data or derived from algorithms.
- With 24/7 reliability, full scalability, and plug-in capabilities
for new, extended, or legacy technologies.
